Description
A slender, single-strand necklace with pared-back modern styling made from hefty sterling silver lozenge beads that are evenly spaced with dyed red bamboo coral rondelles and irregular discs of Karen Hilltribe silver handmade in northern Thailand.

In contrast to its evidently modern, minimalist pedigree, the silver lozenge beads used in this necklace are in fact Balinese replicas of beads produced in Ming Dynasty China. They have a rather irregular, rugged charm which lends the necklace an ethnic, tribal appeal in addition to its stricter, contemporary lines. Between each of these unusual beads I have placed a pair of bamboo coral rondelles dyed in a deep red colour and a pair of Karen Thai Hilltribe silver discs which are 97% pure silver. To finish it off I have used a simple, etched sterling silver toggle clasp also made in Bali.

The combination of dazzling silver and punchy deep red would work with so many different outfits. Furthermore, the necklace offers several options for wear, either alone as a single strand, layered with other long necklaces or chains, or wrapped twice around for extra oomph.

PACKING & SHIPPING
The necklace will come packed in it’s own storage bag, as shown, for safe-keeping, and gift-wrapped for instant gift-giving. Because the gemstones and other components used in my jewellery can be fragile and easily damaged if mistreated, all pieces are carefully packed for domestic and international shipping using recycled packing materials and boxes made by us from recycled materials.
I ship almost all of my packages with Australia Post using Parcel Post within Australia and Standard International shipping for international orders. Both come with tracking and SMS notifications, while Express Post and extra cover insurance can be added if requested. I combine shipping and will refund any excess shipping costs.
