In this instance slices of shimmery raw blue kyanite edged in 24k vermeil (gold plated sterling silver) and coins of solid 24k vermeil combine in a lavish charm necklace inspired by the sumptuous and extraordinary gold jewellery of ancient Mycenae. The impressive foundation chain is 97% pure Karen Thai Hilltribe silver thickly plated in 24k gold. An impressive piece with an understated elegance.
Note: the kyanite charms have a beautiful, natural pearlescent sheen that is very difficult to capture in photographs.
